History

Situated within the heart of Truro, P Abraham & Son have been offering a comprehensive range of motor body repair facilities to the motorist for almost fifty years. Founded by Peter Abraham in 1969, the family run business has grown with the repair industry to meet the evolving changes in vehicle design, manufacture and construction.

Accident repair methods today differ considerably from those of the 1960's. Technology has advanced and now pays an important roll in the workings of a modern motor car. The early 80's saw the installation into our workshops of one of CornwallÂ’s first high specification spray booth ovens. Though this has served us well, we recognize the importance of the continual advancement of modern technology and 2009 saw the investment and installation of another state of the art environmentally efficient booth facility.

Throughout the last four decades the one thing that has remained constant at P Abraham & Son is our dedication to customer care, from first contact through to the completion of the repair and the return of your vehicle to you. Our employees are highly skilled and receive regular training to ensure that they are up to date with all the latest technologies, so whether it is a small dent, a spot of rust, or a more complex accident repair, they are always able to carry out their work to the highest standards. It is our continuing aim to provide a service tailored to suit your individual needs and requirements whilst achieving a high level of customer satisfaction.

Coronavirus - Covid 19

The health and well-being of our staff and customers is always our number one priority.

The whole country is experiencing a challenging time with the outbreak of Covid-19 and we all must do our bit and listen to government advice in these difficult times.

Here is what we are doing to keep our customers and staff as safe as we possibly can.

All technicians and drivers must always wear gloves when entering customers vehicles and a fresh pair will be used on every new vehicle.

They must also wash their hands before and after each vehicle is worked on and before entering the reception or canteen areas.

All counter surfaces, door handles and other commonly touched surfaces will be cleaned & disinfected on a regular basis.

Card machines will be cleaned and disinfected after every use.

Please only leave us your car key without any keyrings or other items attached as we will be wiping car keys when handed over.

Vehicles will be wiped down before and after repairs.

We hope you understand the reasoning behind these measures and apologise in advance if we seem busier than usual whilst we undertake these tasks.
